About Us - Why Hire A Professional Pet Sitter?
Our StaffAfter more than 25 years in marketing, event planning, community and economic development, training and development professional positions in corporate and non-profit industries, I decided to take my own advice and pursue my life's passion - to improve the lives of animals! Read more of my professional biography here, but what you really need to know is my purpose and heart is truly dedicated to providing your pets with extra special attention, exercise and stimulation, their basic care, and ultimately, to make them feel comfortable and cared for until you return. Growing up, I spent ,my summers in the vet clinic with my step mom and she'd tell you they would always find me back in the kennel providing comfort and love to the animals who seemed sad, frightened or sick in their cages. I also spent the rest of my years living on a farm, where I rescued, saved and cared for the sickly, runts and "not gonna make it" farm animals, homeless and even wild animals. I always befriended the runt piglets and sickly calves that were sure to die. All my life, my heart has turned toward an animal in need and nothing is beyond too good for any animal in my opinion. My personal belief is that God created all creatures big and small, and all lives should be cherished and protected. Therefore, I am dedicated to providing your FurPals with the generous, loving and attentive care you do or maybe even that you wish you had more time to do.
I also hold myself to and believe in high standards, high quality care and continuing education, therefore I've studied using the Certified Professional Pet Sitter (CPPS) curriculum through Pet Sitters International which I was previously a member of. This curriculum provides in-depth knowledge and skills necessary for providing superior in-home pet care and includes pet care, health and nutrition, emergency response and other services along with business and office procedures making me the premier pet sitting expert in the area. I have passed an in-depth background check.. Your FurKids are MY FurKids while you're away (and in my heart as soon as our eyes meet) so you can expect that I will care for them as if they are my own...ask anyone who knows me, mine (and the animals we rescue) are spoiled! I welcome the opportunity to give YOU peace of mind to allow your pets an opportunity to remain in THEIR own, familiar environment, and to give YOUR FURRY FAMILY MEMBERS special attention, love and care that brings them happiness and fun until you return! |
